American Financial Realty Trust was a NYSE listed company.
Developed and implemented strategies and structures for the effective management of real estate portfolios realizing exponential growth. Managed, trained, and motivated seven key managers located in regional offices, including support teams. Directed functions involving negotiations, procurement, client experience, contract, and specification preparation, design and construction services, facilities management, legal review, rent collections and bench marking. Functioned as agent for owner employed and highly respected Jenkintown Pennsylvania based “community” management company. Interfaced with institutional ownership and asset manager and performed property management, residential/retail/ commercial lease negotiations, project management, asbestos containing materials (ACM) removal as well as the development/implementation of ACM Operations and Maintenance Plan. Removed ACM from all 610 apartment units while maintaining occupancy/tenant satisfaction and without loss of income. Created a sense of community by developing, implementing, and managing tenant relations programs resulting in high occupancy rates and increased revenue.
